The interlibrary loan and reference records of the Library Service Area are confidential, in accordance with Iowa Code 22.2 and 22.7.13. The Administrator is the custodian of the records.

Records and information regarding individual consulting contacts with librarians and trustees are confidential; topics of consultation may be discussed within the confines of normal consulting practice but any connection between the topic and/or discussion and an individual or library is confidential outside that process. The Administrator is custodian of the records.
